TIG WELDING AT D&R MACHINE
TIG welding—tungsten inert gas welding—is a metal-joining process in which a nonconsumable tungsten electrode heats a metal to join parts together, commonly with an externally fed filler rod material. In comparison to MIG welding, TIG welding exchanges the ease of use that MIG welding provides for a more precise level of accuracy and cleaner finish for more delicate jobs.
