BRONZE OVERVIEW
A highly durable and corrosion-resistant metal, bronze is an alloy of copper and tin that is used throughout the world where environmental issues make other metals less ideal choices in design solutions. When an application requires a higher strength than copper while still retaining its corrosion-resistant properties, bronze is among the few candidates that is ideal for the job.
Bronze's unique properties, specifically those that stem from copper, lend themselves suitable to be designed for outdoor applications. Applications in aquatic environments, including ocean saltwater, tend to use bronze to maintain mechanical strength without compromising longevity compared to others that do not maintain corrosion resistance.
