3-axis machining is the foundation of machining via CNC milling. In the advent of computer numerical control, machinists have been able to program the exact movement of the spindle in order for the tool to cut into material exactly where intended. Whether it be making holes or cutting down sides of a block of metal, 3-axis machining will remain a simple and reliable means of producing your part.
At D&R Machine, our HAAS Automation vertical mills allow us to process any part via 3-axis machining. With a maximum envelope of 40" x 20" x 25", our mills are able to process a majority of our customers requirements for material processing large or small.
